A film on women strength ‘Extra-Ordinary’ made in Hindi was at Bengaluru for promotion of the film. For the ill fated women the protagonist in the film Ritupurna Sen Gupta fills courage to go ahead in life. That is what the film all about. The intention of the director is to tell women are extraordinary in strength – this is what Yogaraj Bhat had told ‘Henmakkale Strongu Guru’.

Sunanda Shyamal Mithra has written story, screenplay, and dialogues besides direction of the film. This is the fifth film of Sunanda. This film touches on the topics of ten different issues such prostitute, widow, atrocity etc The concept has come to the notice of director when on a moving train traced the women folks carrying water in the pots. It was something wonderful and desi ‘Ramp Walk’. That scene is evolution for the story in this ‘Extraordinaari’.

Bengali actress Ritupurna Sen Gupta is in lead role with Satyajith Srma, Shahabaz Khan, Jaya Bhattacharya, Vakthar Khan and a few youngsters. Hirjura Roy has scored music, lyrics are lent by Ravibyasnet, Bijoy Verghese is cameraman. This film is slated for release in May end.

Ritupurna Sen Gupta speaking on this occasion says the promotion has commenced from Bengaluru because she is very much attached to Bengaluru. The subject also relates to Bengaluru and my husband also hails from this film she says. Winner of award for ‘Dahan’ Ritupurna has high hopes on this film.
